you're getting me really curious about 7 card stud. it just seems like a lot more to keep track of (compared to hold em).

mmmmmmm rolled up trip aces, the hand stud players dream of. Nicely played with the patience 'til 5th street. I normally go for the check-raise there though; they're being the aggressor, let them think they should continue. It's a few extra bets in a pot you are most likely going to win. | |

I found 7-stud much easier to play and more 1-dimensional vs. limit and no-limit holdem. To me reading folks isnt as important vs what cards are out and what was folded, making it less of a thinking game. However, knowing is someone is tight/aggressive vs loose/passive is still very important. |
