I have played many hands at full ring but lately I have been venturing into 6 max... I think I played this hand correctly besides the fact I cold call but I’m not sure, please give me your opinions... I think that I probably took it way to far but argressor is a Lagg and I could be ahead about the same amount of the time I'm behind...

If he's LAggtard, then it's a painfully easy pre-flop 3-bet. If you're luck he'll cap and lead until you push back again.

I agree that you can 3 bet preflop. The cold call isn't too bad.
I think you should call the turn and raise the river though. In 6max, you'll get called down more often(so you have little fold equity), and your raise on the turn isn't for value. It is a good play if you plan on calling the river unimproved and you thing villain will check to you on the river if you raise.
To win in poker you only need to be one step ahead of your opponents. Two steps may be detrimental.

i'm cold calling if the blinds are loose. if they aren't, i'm 3bet or folding. btw, i do like the turn raise semi-bluff.

nice hand, 3-bet this flop!! Isolating with a good hand is key to beating 6-max.

ballsy semi-bluff, if it didn't work out would you have posted this hand?
take your ego out of the equation and judge the situation dispassionately

because of the flop action, there's a good chance they're bluffing at the pot. this creates a good opporunity to give your opponent a chance to fold. other times they might have slow played the higher PP and 3bet, but that doesn't matter because you have lots of outs, and you can put in a raise on the river.

if you miss, you can use your reads if any to bluff or check behind.

6 max is very different, as your opponents are making different kinds of mistakes and have different betting patterns in some spots. There is a lot of shit I can get away with at a full table where in the same spot the 6 maxers will re-raise a wider range of holdings and call down. I've been playing LHE HU SnGs to try to get a read on the pounders. I'm also putting together a post for 2+2 that addresses some of the remaining blanks I have.

yea my full ring i think has come a long very nicely, i'm playing solidly lately though i have been on a cold run, i'll drop like 50bb then bring it back to like down 15bb or less... i'm trying to figure out how to win before i loose But 6 max is a totaly diffrent beast all together... One that i don't think i want to tachel but will have to eventully because 3/6 full and 5/10 full i'm sure will be harder to find easy money at... We'll see what happens...
