I think it's just a simple equation based on the % of time you think improving to a pair of Tens makes your hand good here.

Go for the flush, especially as your opponent drew 1. He might be on a flushdraw as well and it's a beauty to hit flush over flush.

You go for the flush. Also if you think the player is able to call your raise with less than 10's, then you should bet your missed draw. If you think the caller for sure has 2 pair then checking is probably not too bad. If you do play draws without odds then its a bluff and you raise pre and bet post....unless you hear ABORT....ABORT.... bluff.....
