aok didn't seem to like this idea much, and i'm not going to write a fucking book, so you can have this if you want it:

Chapter 1: play 2000 hands where you only see the flop with AA/KK
Chapter 2: add QQ, AKs, play another 2000 hands
Chapter 3: add JJ, TT, AKo, AQs ...

... and so on

Prolly no one would buy it, but it'd be a fun exercise for people who want to establish discipline.

whats his 2+2 name? I'm more or less interested in the style of play. I had to make several adjustments to my 'ABC' game at 15/30 because of the LAGGY play there, but I noticed 30/60 is alot more 'straight up' than I expected.

Okay, or I could talk to you on Vent some time too, I have to study for a midterm or i'd talk to you now (and probalby playing). Thanks.

I'm looking for some general analyses from other 2+2 browsers *cough* fnord *cough* or trikflow's opinion, etc.

I just got on the 100k vent and will try to hook up with you this week. I'd love to talk about 15/30 and what I've decided to do with my game.

Yeah, I have been crushing 5/10 6 max for a while. As you know, my full game probably still needs some work. 10/20 is that next step. I don't feel confident in the 10/20 6 max game though.
I have played a few hundred hands as high as 20/40, and for the small sample size, seem to be beating the full games for a consistent rate. The variance in 6 max still scares me a bit. I don't feel I have use of all of the "tools" available to me that I have in a full game, since 6 max players main mistake seems to be overplaying hands, which confuses my style a bit.

That's why I've been playing HU SnGs mixed in here and there. I want to learn how to get the most of weak hands against (over-)aggressive opponents.

I also plan to pick up a copy of Poki and see how it reacts to some situations.

you'd learn faster and win more money (or lose more) to play HU at 2/4. I often try to get in these situations at 15/30, 20/40, or 30/60 against loose passive opponents who won't check raise.

Jeff, how many hands did it take you to decide to move up? You were at 15K, what, two months ago?

My stats:

30,416 Hands
23.20 VPIP (not filtered, so lots of shorthanded play in there)
36.71 WSD
53.04 W$SD
15.37 PFR
3.17 BB/100
Rake: $7686
Hours: 176.86
MT Ratio: 2.33
BB/Hour: 5.22

Aggresion:
F: 2.87
T: 2.56
R: 1.84
T: 2.53

I am deciding to move up because with the current change in Party I am thinking the games are going to get better (lower shark/fish ratio). The breakeven players are going to be donating more of their money, and, while i'm still in school, I want to get up as high as possible while my costs are low (less relative risk involved).
