Alright, I'm going to try to post more hands here in this forum. Probably three from each session. We don't get much traffic coming through here 'round these parts, so hopefully others will follow suit.

Without further adieu...

No reads on villain. It's my first orbit at the table. Figured him for AK, although I've been having "putting him on AK syndrome" lately so..

PokerStars Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (10 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

Preflop: Hero is CO with K, Q
6 folds, Hero raises, 1 fold, SB 3-bets, 1 fold, Hero calls

Flop: (7 SB) 5, 6, K (2 players)
SB bets, Hero raises, SB 3-bets, Hero folds

Total pot: $2.75 (5.5 BB) | Rake: $0.10

Not sure what the hell I'm doing here. I usually 3bet in these situations (see QQ, JJ topic) so everything felt fucked up from the very beginning.

PokerStars Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (10 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

Preflop: Hero is SB with Q, Q
UTG calls, 1 fold, UTG+2 raises, 3 folds, CO calls, 1 fold, Hero calls, 1 fold, UTG calls

Flop: (9 SB) 4, 3, 3 (4 players)
Hero checks, UTG checks, UTG+2 bets, CO calls, Hero raises, 1 fold, UTG+2 calls, CO calls

Turn: (7.5 BB) K (3 players)
Hero checks, UTG+2 bets, CO calls, Hero calls

River: (10.5 BB) 5 (3 players)
Hero checks, UTG+2 checks, CO checks

Total pot: $5.25 (10.5 BB) | Rake: $0.25

I figured him for unpaired overs (like me). So why the hell did I fold the river? Let me know about this hand especially, because I realized I wasn't completely focused and closed the session after this one. Limping in was a mis-click by the way.

one... imo, nope. i see players go overboard with FD's all the time. lots you still beat. i dont continue to jam, but i dont fold. but then again, you are playing FR.

two... idk. this is very different. yes, 3bet pre, but you know that. dont you have to follow through on your flop raise with a turn lead? i dont care about the K. if i get raised, i might. if i get called, i prolly c/c a river here. i only see a K calling us if they are in fact on the chase. others may like a b/f of this river. the pot is big enough.

three... i like the c/r on flop. river is a b/f without a read, imo.

boy, those are confusing. i would like to see what others will say.
LHE is a game where your skill keeps you breakeven until you hit your rush of random BS.

Nothing beats flopping quads while dropping a duece!

1. I call down unless the board gets ugly (still hands u can beat + overplayed hands + tilt-bluffs). This is especially true without reads, early session, you should err on the side of getting to SD here (you do have TP).
2. besides PF: keep firing turn and river, less u get raised. As played, i will go for the c/c on river (FD missed, so better to induce, altho u will get paid by all PPs if u lead)
3. River is either b/f or c/f for me. Read dependent. If u think villain will fold AK/AQ/AJ, u should bet. If you think he is SD bound but will check behind with those, u should c/f.
Once you check he plays almost perfectly if he is a thinking player, cause it just looks like missed overs/FD for you. I would valuebet AK in his shoes.
