Hand 1: Nice quads I guess. Is there an interesting decison anywhere there?
Hand 2: Check/call the turn. With only 2 card to go you don't have that much equity and you won't get a lot of folds on an Axx board. Most of our opponents call too much. I don't like the river call without a strong read.
Hand 3: Sometimes I raise this pre-flop if the blinds are tight and/or the players in front are loose + passive. The flop call is horrible, you have a backdoor flush, weak overcard and sucker end of a gutshot in an unraised pot.

Hi Chicago

My comments only reflect how I would have played the hands.

1. I might have checked the turn in an effort to give free river cards, but they called and one player caught something anyway. I just hate it when my bet induces everyone to fold when a have the nuts.

2. I might have check/called. As you played it, I might have folded the raise, thinking that UTG had either weak ace or was on the same diamond draw as you. The way you played it I guess you pretty much have to call the river hoping for that he "was" on a flush draw.

3. Would have played exaclty as you did

I'm curious as to what UTG in hand 2 had.
Gone golfing ..see ya in the Fall of 2006
PS. What did the snail on the turtle's back say?

No way, our opponents call too much and make too many funny raises to even think about checking the turn with 2 other players in the hand.

1. Just showing a big hand I guess.

2. Fold the river, no way your ahead

3. Only getting 7 to 1 on the call, I fold every time. you have the low end of a gutshot and a backdoor flush draw. Fold it.

I agree with what's already been said. Unless you have a good read, fold the second hand, and throw away hand 3 there on the flop
If I had a hammer
I'd drop in the morning
I'd drop in the evening..

Thanks all. I realize that hand #1 looked like boasting...but I wanted to see if I missed any bets there, that's all. It ended up I was against a guy SP'ing a monster and got paid off.
Hand1:
Results in white below:
Hero has 4c 4h (four of a kind, fours).
Button has Tc Ts (full house, tens full of fours).
Outcome: Hero wins 14.25 BB.

Thought I had read on a missed flush...not proud of this one.
Hand2:
Results in white below:
Hero has 6d 8d (one pair, sixes).
UTG has Ac 3c (two pair, aces and threes).
Outcome: UTG wins 11 BB.

Bad flop call, I agree.
Hand3:
Results in white below:
BB has 5d 6s (two pair, sixes and fives).
MP1 has 9h 8c (two pair, nines and eights).
Outcome: MP1 wins 8 BB.
