at a table, I was dealt, 3 consecutive hands. Is this natural ??
On a side note, thank you SO MUCH to all the FTR guys for teaching the concept of bonus whoring. Cleared a 40$ bonus in 2 days (actually gained 25$, lost 15$ out of that while playing ). Very happy.
Planning to be the only guy to CONSISTENTLY LOSE and still be able to play from my original bankroll just by bonus whoring !!

Caught 99 twice in an orbit once. Cold called both times (loose table.) Caught a set both times. Lost to a straight both times.
Hand 1:
You know what you did.
Hand 2:
I don't see how you can fold the flop or turn. River is close, but the flop is draw free and the SB is probably passive so it's probably a fold but it's not a bad call.
Hand 3:
Turn is interesting. Pre-flop action says pocket pair, but top pair pairing up is trouble.
Hand 4:
I hate the flop + turn plays. If you play aggro you don't have to worry about getting action in spots like this.

To win in poker you only need to be one step ahead of your opponents. Two steps may be detrimental.

7:1 not good enough for 2 overcards? Although if there was a draw on the board I like a call more because he might have the best hand.

The other night I had these hands within a span of 23 hands. All at the same table:
AQo (3 times)
AQs (1)
KK (1)
JJ (1)
AJs (2)
AKo (1)
AKs (1)
The result? -37BB. The only pot I won was one that I split one of the AJ hands. One of the AQ hands I hit a queen only to have someone hit a set of QQs. Lost the KK to AA, and lost my Set of JJ to a gutshot straight on the river. That almost put me on tilt for the first time in 4 months...
I think people thought I was a maniac because I was raising every other hand and starting calling with weak cards

I would like 8:1 and position.
Although unlikely, it is possible you are drawing slim or dead to 2 pair or a set. You could also be reverse dominated by something like A3 or KT.
