UTG was 48/26/1 he had raised the pot before with a 108os from UTG+1.......


Givin his stats....should i bet this river or do you think i only get called by a better hand? Jeff you bet this river? fnord?

UTG raises, 5 folds, Hero 3-bets, 3 folds, UTG calls.

i was 3 betting this guy with worse hands, this donk leaked off about 600 to me in about 50 hands. BTW the guy showed the J6......MHIG

I dont normally 3 bet 44, but anytime i could isolate this guy i did. He almost never limped, so the only way to isolate him was t 3 bet. And yes i did get a fair amount of action after he busted, which was also GoOt.

Glad it worked out for you.

This reminds me of the time a 3-bet an aggro player who raised EP with 88. A 3rd guy came along for the ride. I turned an 8 and EP laid down QQ on the river instead of over-calling because he was certain I had AA/KK. It was a humbling lesson in watching what position aggro players are raising with crap from.

Standard play if you are sure you can get it HU. You've got to fold to any aggression however. Theres no relative difference in isolation raises between 22 and 66 when you are just hoping he doesn't hit his hand.
