I donk the river about 100% of the time. Other than that its pretty much standard. On the turn youre looking at about 9 outs so its a pretty standard call getting 5:1.
And welcome aboard :]

Bet and call. Your hand is too strong to let opponent check behind however it is not strong enough to call a 3bet if you decide to check raise.

You can't catch your best card and check-call, that's really weak, sorry to be so harsh but I'm assuming that you posted this because you want an honest opinion and constructive criticism. put yourself in his shoes with an overpair on the flop, when that king drops on the river he is saying to himself like we all have said to ourselves in his position, "please check, please check, please check", you can't do what he wants you to do, don't be the passive player that we love to play against, you are saving him money and this has an opportunity cost for you. You will have the best hand here 90% of the time, the only hands that make sense for him that beat AK are 22, 44 and 99, maybe something goofy like K9/K4s/K3s/K2s. You may feel like the pot is big enough and you're happy to win it but those missed bet will add up and hurt your win rate. The extra bets that you make by not checking in these situations will more than make up for the occasional extra bet that you lose calling a raise when you could've just checked and called. You may feel foolish when you have to pay off a raise and find out that your only out was the gutshot draw but poker is about making money and you shouldn't let your feelings cloud your judgement.
