So far this year I have made about 2.5 BB/100 over almost 20,000 hands at the Party 2/4 game, so I decided to move up to the 3/6 game. After about 1500 hands, I am now down about 60BB. I know 1500 hands is a pretty small sample, but is the 3/6 game really that much tougher than 2/4 at party? Would it be a good idea to drop back down to 2/4 again after an immediate down turn like that?(my bankroll can still easily support 3/6)

3/6 has a lot more multi-tabling Rocks and TAggs. Don't even think of playing the game without PlayerView + PokerTracker for reads. Also, table selection becomes much more important. Although your winrate will be lower, you'll learn to play much better poker against that crowd.

Actually, I'm playing a little 4x 2/4 right now. Just seen one player that's given me trouble. Everyone else really sucks.... on a Monday afternoon...

yeah, I think the players at 2/4 might just be especially bad. My winrate at 1/2 during the last few months of last year before moving up to 2/4 was only about 1.5 BB/100 then I moved up to 2/4 and have been just killing it. I think I might go back down to 2/4 until either more good players start playing 2/4 or the crappy players there graduate to 3/6. 4-tabling 2/4 for a good $25/hour profit is good enough for me for now
