so..how crappy did I play this hand? on the turn I was hoping to checkcall both streets for a cheap showdown, but with that river raise I was thinking bear had to have 2-pair or a set. thoughts?

unless i have reason to do otherwise, by default i fold after 2 back on the flop.

I think you played it fine, but I probably would have gone into call down mode after the cap on the flop.

that sums it up for me.
I would have called the river also.

at that point I have to call. your getting the correct odds to call
and i have seen some people show down nothin.

this is 6max so you could have someone with KQ who got in and stayed or Aj
AK.

There's no way I would call 2 on the river here.
Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.

ok, just making sure this was the right play here. so If one bet back though, this would be an easy call, right?

What did the other guy have? The flop action sure looked like more than top pair.

The flop play really comes down to reads.

You let this one get away when you checked the turn. I almost never cap and check.

BTW, bear made a GREAT play on the river here.
