Hand 1: Just sat down at the table a few hands ago and the only regular I recognize folded preflop so no reads. Should I be raising this flop or is it better to see a safe turn card and how people react before getting too committed? I assume a flop raise won't get anybody to fold.

Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (9 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Preflop: Hero is CO with A, 9.
2 folds, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, 1 fold, Hero calls, Button calls, SB completes, BB raises, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, Hero calls, Button calls, SB calls.

Flop: (12 SB) 5, 9, 3 (6 players)
SB bets, BB calls, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, Hero???

Hand 2: Button is an overaggressive idiot who will bet virtually everytime it is checked to him. UTG+2 seems like a pretty decent Tag, but is a bit on the passive side. He also tries to get tricky in wierd spots sometimes, so I don't know what to make of the flop check after the preflop raise. Should I bet out this turn or try and check-raise button who will bet for sure.

Turn: (6 BB) K (3 players)

I raise both pre-flop and they play differently from there.

Interesting...I usually raise KQo UTG, but I had been raising a lot at this table and felt people might be getting ready to make some moves on me. A9s with 2 limpers though I probably have never raised preflop. Is that a pretty standard raise that I should definately be making?

I raise the A9s hand because I don't want the button limping in behind me. Acting last is good.
