I've been getting better at keeping my over-aggressive tendencies in check, but I'm still having those lapses in judgment. But here are a couple hands to take a look at. The obviousness of any errors should help burn into my head when to raise and when to call.

Hand #1

Button is 21/3/1.00 (passive post-flop)

I want to say I got carried away on the turn. I'm almost certain I should have just gone into calldown mode.

Preflop: Hero is UTG+2 with A, J. UTG posts a blind of $0.10.

Flop: (11.50 SB) T, 6, J (5 players)

River: (19.25 BB) 4 (3 players)

Final Pot: 21.25 BB

Hand #2

UTG+1 is 50/0/0.36 (passive post-flop)
MP2 is 29/3/0.97 (passive post-flop)

Probably shouldn't have gone crazy on the River.

I don't see the river in hand 2.

These pots are so bloated pre-flop that spewing an extra bet here and there can't be all that wrong.

you think hand 1 was ok? i think 3betting someone who just raised the aggressor and caller is pretty overboard with only TPTK.
