I'm trying to get a better feel for my opening ranges

Obv position is soooooo important therefore we're opening a lot wider in LP.

1. What's a decent UTG/UTG+1 range?
2. Are we ever limping in PF?

I figure at the worst we're playing 3 cards to a 7 or can we play 3 cards to an 8?

I guess I'll just list some hands and you can tell me what you do with them

Here's my best guesses

KK832: Raise in LP. You've got a good chance to make a solid 8.
KK853: Raise on btn or SB. Stealing hand, you don't want much resistance.
KK872: Raise in LP. Can make a decent 8, and have a chance to go for a 7 if need be.
KK345: Fold unless you want to make a straight.
KK467: Fold unless you like your chances of drawing 32 or 25. Occasionally steal against bad opponents.
KK267: Raise in LP, sometimes in EP under the right conditions.

The first thing you should look for is a 2. If you don't have one, toss it in EP without another thought. The second thing is three cards 7 or lower (with a 2). Raise and re-raise these from any position, unless you have a 6 in your hand, which generally weakens it to a raise from LP. The fourth is three cards 8 or lower (with a 2). Raise these from LP. If you have 3x7 or 3x8 those are stealing hands. Avoid three cards in straight formation (except 234xx) like the plague.

Of course, adjust for opponents.

Negreanu has a nice chapter on 2-7 in SS2 btw.
