Not sure on my play in the following 2 hands........

At the time I had no reads on Lipslab, the rest of the table is quiet loose/passive.

hand 1: giving it up on the river is fine because you won't get any better hand to fold or any lesser hand to call

hand 2: hmm... being laid 8.5:1 isn't bad, but you said the table is generally L/P, therefore instinct says that he either hit a straight or got 2 pair.
