Hello all. I am kind of new to the cash games as I have just played mostly sngos. I recently sat down at the 2/4 limit tables on Stars and ended up being up lil over $200.00 in about 4 hours of play. I am thinking of hanging around the cash tables for awhile simply b/c sngos can be such a grind and I also think I could possibly do well there. I was wondering if someone could tell me about what the standard roll was for players who play the 2/4 limit tables simply b/c I know the br mgt theory is different in cash games than in sngos. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

$1200

read all the stickies in the forums. I wouldn't suggest grinding limit at Stars because no bonus/rakeback.

How do u come up with the number $1200? What other sites would u suggest? My sites are limited due to the fact that I'm playing in the US. I have pretty much just played Tilt and Stars for the last 3 yrs.

If you are playing full ring you would want to have a roll of about 300 big bets (2Xbig blind) give or take 100 depending on how much you multitable (which at limit can be a huge number). If you play 6max (which you SHOULD) i would suggest a 2k roll for 2/4.

Absolute and UB are far better to grind out a limit roll than PS or FTP.
