Villian is a little LAggy, but I've been getting the best of him on prior hands. Been open raising as thin as weak suited Kings. I figure he steals here 40%+

I think every street could have been played differently.

The only thing I can see that you could do differently is a check-call on the river, if you think he may have hit two pair or the flush when the J fell. That would be read dependent though.

Edit: You obviously have the best hand on the flop or he's reraising you. Since the only hands that he can have that could have improved him on the turn are AJ or two hearts, the bet on the river is good.

Personally, I like the aggression of betting out on the river after he raised you on the turn. Not sure I'd have been that aggressive but I like the play nonetheless. I'm curious, would you have called had he raised you on the river? Pot was what, $41 at that point with 4 more to call if he raised you? I'd have been really thinking flush if he raised the river but I'm not sure I could have gotten away from my 2 pair.

I seriously considered 3-betting the turn. I'll believe he has 2 hearts when I see it. However, a big heart semi-bluff was possible. Although, I think I'm giving these guys too much credit to make that play. Anyway, plan was to bet out any non-heart river. Check/raising the river might have also been possible, but I would really hate for him to check behind me.

Short-handed I must call this to show the table I'm willing to showdown a hand. Full-table it's closer, but I would still cry and call.
