Read on villian is semi-loose preflop, tight/aggressive postflop. Good fold?

If you're folding the turn, you should just fold to the flop c/r.

as a general rule, or do you not see him getting enough odds to draw?

at 9-1 he's got to peel one on the flop again. The turn fold is completely read dependant. However, he could just as well have an OESD or flush draw or even any pair here. I'll usually call this down and put in a river bet even when he checks it to me.

Agreed. Call it down, note what he C/R's flop with.

You count funny but on second looks it's probably close enough to peel.

U need a very strong read or supermans vision so you can see his holdcards to fold second pair top kicker on this cordinated board.
If you where BB what range of hands do you put yourself on..?
Wich hands do you c/r on this flop. a lot of players will c/r any draw here or any pair.
You cannot fold until the board gets more coordinated.
On a way dryer board like KJ4 rainbow I might think about it but then I would look at how many J hands he's doing this with and the OESD he's doing it with and look him up still.

I'll often call this down unless the flush draw gets there. It is very player dependant though. (and admittedly how I "feel" at the time )

To win in poker you only need to be one step ahead of your opponents. Two steps may be detrimental.

The flop c/r is so ... "eh? Why? You want me to fold?" if I can beat mid pair, I usually call it down.

If we are committed to calling this down, why not a turn raise? Get our bet in there, fold to a 3bet, check through the river. We get the same number of bets in, a King will call but maybe fold, likely check the river, a draw will pay the maximum and likely wait to checkraise us on the river.
(Glad to see you around here again Demi )
