8 handed €2/€2 PL DC live, hand in question is courchevel. Eff stacks €500.

Villain is a very decent live pro who's game I actually respect. The rest are randoms.

Flop card revealed: 6

Preflop: Hero is CO with 5 A 6 8 9
2 folds, EP calls €2, HJ calls €2, Hero raises to €10, BU calls, 1 fold, BB calls, EP calls, HJ calls.
Flop: (€52) (6) 6 7 (5 players)
BB checks, EP checks, HJ checks, Hero bets €40, 1 fold, BB raises to €80, 2 folds, Hero?

Easy snap fold vs minraise with position?

I would probably call and re-eval, but it will be a bit of a guessing game. If he'll put you in tough spots, and you could be drawing dead I could fold, I don't think it's ever bad and/or exploitable

OOP fold for sure I think, and like swigg say I can't see how folding could be wrong. If you call I would bet any turn you don't improve in hopes of getting to the next hand and maybe even get him off another A6 type.

is the min raise normal for him?

vs this many I think checking the flop is better, the turn will often be easier to play i think.

Yeah agree about folding, which is what I did. Never seen villain minraise oop before but it's a pretty logical sizing on this board. I think I'm really exploitable here if I always b/f A6, which is what I'm mainly worried about. Since I'm holding As, someone else almost certainly has the 6d here.

We should probably only bet flop with A6 trips on 66X when X is 2-5. Just pretty unfortunate to give a free card to four players, each of them holding 5 cards.
