I put him on the flush draw. He's very passive, thus I thought a bet meant I was beat here since I expect he went for the turn CR, and since that didn't work led the river.

 Hand 1 makes me want to puke. He gave you no notice of a flush. You have to make this value bet on the turn and you MUST call the river bet.

Yeah, hand 1 you have to call getting almost 8:1. Overall, just a little too passive.

hand 1: bet the turn to find out where you really are, call the river

hand 2: kinda split on this one. the turn raise says he can beat TPTK, but you have outs

hand 3: 3bet the flop and find out how far behind/ahead you might be

hand 4: bet the river, getting passive as soon as a scare card pops off is a horrible mindset

hand 5: While it sucks, you have to consider folding the turn. Behind an A, you have only 2 outs assuming they aren't holding AK or already made a boat.

hand 6: raise the turn, take control of the hand. You'll miss more bets than make them by smooth calling. with a 5bet cap, you should just call the 3bet w/o holding a strong boat with a paired board.
