Villain and I had started this table, he sat with me HU then it quickly filled. He bought in full and seems to like to bet when checked to when we played HU.

$50 effective

Hero is BB with :Kc: :Kd:

1 fold, CO limps, BTN limps, SB completes, Hero raises to $2.25, CO calls, BTN calls, SB folds

Flop ($7.25): :Qd:
Hero bets $6.50, CO folds, BTN calls

Turn ($20.25):
Hero bets $18.50, BTN calls

River ($57.25):
Hero bets $22.75 (all-in)

I check pre, this is not a good hand imo, esp not OOP. But if you're raising it I guess you do need to 2 barrel here. Just seems like making the game harder to me.

As played I guess the river 4 is a good card but I can't really figure out what the value in a bet is. I assume you would have mentioned him being so bad you thought he'd call with Q9/AQ, so you take the bluff away from missed draws and get no value back in return.

I agree 100% with postflop, river looks like the easiest c/c ever. I think the turn bet is pretty standard as I feel villain would have to fast-play top 2 or a set and I actually wouldn't doubt he finds a fold with a naked bottom 2pr on the turn.

PF is more debatable, usually I'd check a hand like KK42 or KKJ3 but this hand has a little more potential so I can go either way, sometimes I'll rap the table other times I fire it up.

I would check preflop, your hand is not that great multiway out of position. I actually never raise out of position against multiple limpers in this game. It may be correct in some cases, but I've never seen a point to it.

I would check preflop and then check the flop, maybe calling one bet from a late position bettor.

Did you have a read that the CO was a huge fish? I can't see him calling with a worse hand on the river.

Yea my river bet is lolbad, guess I was hoping I just counterfeited some 2pr combo that would look me up when in all reality that'd be Q9xx for nothing.

River check/call has to be correct though right?

I'd check and call unless he was a super nit, although I'd expect to be shown 2-2, As-xs-4 or something. You probably pick off enough bluffs to show a profit against a random opponent, though.
