Well actually my friend that is good at poker but fairly poor has requested that I stake him also. Since I have never heard of any staking deal besides Knishs on Rounders that is just kinda what I have it with my bro(thats just what he brought up and I said thats fine). 50% of his winnings, if he loses I take the whole hit. Since its my brother and we have been best friends for basically ever I dont even really do that and when he turns him game around into usually profitable I will just let him take it all. I know it will happen its just a matter of time. As far as a normal person I would probably first determine what they are going to playing. SNGs, MTTs, Rings and whether it was exclusive or mix and match. With SNGs I would probably make them start at 10s or less and give them $200 and if they lost it all I would cut them off. MTTs I would probably not do at all (because if they can't stake themselves more than likely they have close to zero experience with anything more than one table). Rings maybe like 8-10x the buy in and tell em to be conservative. Of course I would make them sign up under me as an affiliate so at least that would offset some of the hit and then at least you might even make extra if they come out ahead. There are only about 3 people I can think of off the type of my head that I would even consider staking to begin with.

I would never stake anyone that I didn't know in real life.(which I think this would be the case with all of use on here - if you stake someone you dont know in your life you are asking to be screwed). Unless its like Fnord lol, I would probably stake him though I know he would never need it.

Access to their account at anytime so I can check their progress and make sure they arent cashing out not giving me my cut. The people I would stake I really think have about a 1% chance of screwing me but if they started doing really good people have a way of getting greedy. Of course once they made a couple hundred bucks they would probably just start coming up with the stake themselves.

I can't really think of any other specifics but I might when I ponder this at work.

What are your thoughts?
