I have a friend, he is actually only 17 years old but he's been playing since middle schools. He plays pool more than he plays poker, but he likes poker too. The other day, I was at a party, him and I and a few others, we decided to play a poker game. It came down to heads-up between him and I and he wooped me.
so after the party we sat down and played a few play hands and I played them how I would normally play them. He read me really good on every hand. Baised on a few second hesitation he could tell what card I had on one example. Even trying to slowplay him didn't work. Some of them took him awhile. (so long it would be impracticle in a real game)
However, this slaughtering I believe was becuase of two things, him being really really really good, and me being quite bad. I'm not sure if i should be just like a robot or what, I'm thinking about being like Phil Ivey.
any tips?
