First of all it was obvious you were joking and being sarcastic. Some people are just wound to tight to get it I guess.
Secondly, "In the game of life, woman are the rake" which is very true and the best line out of Rounders  Which is coming out with a special edition DVD sept 9.
Ok now to your problem, the best way to get her to shut up is to win.
My girlfriend bitched about poker(not that she does not bitch about everything anyway). Then when I won my first big MTT she changed her tune. Now she likes me to play poker and even encourages it.
