Cloutier seems to have one big theory that all play can be based on. If you hand is good enough to play, raise.

You should only do 2 things. Raise or fold. Only check if it's an option and you want to fold.

I see how this can work. I can understand why TJ is such a great player. When you get other people sweating every time they play against you, you will come out on top quite a bit. But I also see a lot of occations that you may want to call. and this is why I find it hard to play his way.

I'm heading out tomorrow to buy Skalansky's Tournament Poker for Advanced Players. I hope I'm not getting ahead of myself, but I think it may be very informative.
