I want to post as apology in case anyone tried to check us out after CodeRed's post yesterday. We've been experiencing some technical issues, but they are resolved now. Details are below:
In true Murphy's law fashion, we just finished one of the worst 24 hour periods. Last week, our backup server cancelled our account. Apparently they revised their Terms of Service and it became a violation to have 300Gb of video, even if you own the copyright. No big deal though, that was only in place in case of an issue on the main site, and it has been a year since we had any issue with storage on our primary server...
Then, shortly after CodeRed made his post yesterday, our hosts had the kindness to temporarily shut off our main site while completing a move to a larger server. Their system saw that the transfer was 90% complete, so it issued these changes automatically, expecting it to be a few minutes, or an hour at most. However, 10% of 300GB takes a lot longer to finish up than they had accounted for, so instead of an hour of down-time, we were down for almost a full day.
Everything is up again now. We have found another back up server, and will be getting things set up there as quickly as possible to mitigate against any future issues, though we don't expect any problems anytime soon.
All active members received an extra day added for free to their existing subscription.
