I agree that the main issue is whether our ace is good if it hits. The secondary issue is what implied odds are we getting from the donk if a 3 hits.
I think the raise by the good player in seat 4 was an iso-raise to get himself heads up against the donk if I missed. So his range may even start with middle pair, though I think a king is much more likely because he called my pre-flop raise. There's a small possibility of a set. Almost no possibility of 2-pair due to the ragged board. I guess a strong ace is possible, though not all that likely as I think he would have 3-bet me pre-flop with one. I don't think A2 or A4 is very likely, because that would be a very fishy call pre-flop in between a pre-flop raiser and a donk who will defend his kill blind at all costs.
The 3-bet from the donk means very little. He's spewing and could have just about anything.
So those are my ranges. (1) How clean are my ace outs? And (2) If my pot odds aren't quite good enough, am I getting enough in implied odds from the donk to make up for it?
