It seems to me that stats for PLO "normalize" or converge more quickly than for hold'em and you can get a good idea on how someone plays after just a few hundred hands....really, just seeing their showdowns and what they play to raises from the blinds is often enough. yes, I think the important thing to know is who you can 3-bet and who only has AAxx when they raise/3-bet.
