To a certain extent i agree and there are lots of different types of tilters so you cant really say this will work for everyone or wont work for anyone.
In my case tilt is pretty silent and unnoticeable, i don't scream or get angry i just lapse in concentration, take too many risks and generally play below my best. Sometimes i slip into a worse tilt where i'm already on a bad run and this is the stage that often turns into a blowout session of 6+ buyins down.
For me i often feel like i want to stop, i recognise im tilting but then try and reassure myself that i can just concentrate and turn things around but this is rarely what happens, i make loose calls, i play overly aggro and stop my thought processes.
This program isnt a simple AHK script, its a windows application and theres alot of thought and continuing thought going into making it difficult to bypass, just like the net monitoring systems people put in place for their children, the vast majority of users would have a hard job bypassing this when its in lockout mode however i do agree that more experienced users would eventually figure out how to bypass it, we will keep making it harder though.
But from my experience if someone physically stopped me playing then its enough for me to go, well i was better off quiting. I wanted to stop but couldnt but on occasion i would get disconnected as i had alot of problems with it, when i got disconnected for some reason 70% of my table i would lose my seat, whenever this happened i couldnt be bothered to log in again and try and find more tables to play on but if i wasnt logged off then i would have continued to play, for me i needed that physical push.
But i fully accept if people go above and beyond then this may not be the answer for them, there will always be a free trial so i suggest see if it works if not then at least you gave it a shot and you'd nothing to lose
