If you're going to 3bet a hnad like that, you need to keep control of this hand. If you've ever watched any videos from Raptor. When he 3bets this light in position and flops mid to bottom pair, he always bets the flop.

The reason is, you don't want to open yourself up to bluffs when you have medium showdown value. Checking behind does this because people always check behind this flop with just ace highs.
WHen you check behind this flop, thats all you repesent.

If you do check behind, you have to make a small raise when he leads into you. In this instance he bet out 6$. Id raise it really small to 14 and fold to a 3bet. The reason I'd do that is because I would expect him to shutdown with hands that are slightly ahead of us, and fold out his bluffs.

It's not ideal..Which is why I like betting the flop better. However, it does prevent him from bluffing into us on the river.

But at 50nl, you really don't need to bet 3betting with hands like these. Calling in position is fine and raising his cbet, or floating and betting the turn is almost as effective as the moeny you're going to win by 3betting light.

Hope that helps.
