That and I don't know if I'm even interested in that. Shooters I've enjoyed playing always were innovative in some way: wolfenstein3d ldo, duke nuke 'em, - did not care for doom cuz it was just a fancy way too long version of wolfenstein imo, quake, quake arena - that was a whole new level of gameplay. battlefield 1942, the halflife series, portal, left4dead - absolutely love it.
I've tried far cry, crysis, warhead, far cry II... but they I get bored with them after 20 minutes.
I agree for the most part, except for the Far Cry comment. It was probably the best time I've had playing a shooter after Half Life.
