Last month did not go well. I had my first losing month in awhile (ever...I don't know). Definitely a confidence killer. I've been working a lot (mainly on my own) to get better emotionally and just with poker overall. I had a great talk with my girlfriend about this and she seemed to give very solid advice mimicking what other poker players usually tell me. I feel a lot more at ease when playing. As far as studying, I am really diving deep into my database. Looking at my stats and seeing if I can improve, checking out other players stats to an extent, talking to other players etc. I really feel like I have fixed a couple of leaks from calling a tad too lightly in the blinds, not cbetting enough, not 3betting enough and not isolating bad players/limpers enough.
So far this month things are going well. I've only played 1k hands for multiple reasons but I am winning at a solid 18.59bb/100. It's for sure still somewhat deflating to see my EVbb/100 at 40.72bb/100 but what can you do?
