Haha, these pads may save one´s life, but usually just lessen the pain a bit. These first class racing tracks do at least have proper crash pads, whereas our local park is equipped with stinky old mattresses covered in trash bags.
Today is the first day of my poker break and the beginning of me experiencing the world. My flight goes on Sat night cet, I´ll arrive in Muscat on Sun around 9a local time. I´ve got a bit mixed feelings about this trip, as I´ve never even been on a plane before in my life. Also, I´ll have to abandon everything I love and am passionate about in my life for at least 8 weeks. Then again two month are a piece of cake.
Otoh Im just totally stoked and happy I got this opportunity many many people won´t ever get in their entire life. Im really excited and curious about life. Im gonna learn some arabian, have to deal with 45°C and need to figure out how to get an internet conection. Im not going to play a lot or any poker, even if its legal. Would be a waste to hang the evening in front of your laptop. Im supposed to work like 40 to 45 hrs/week and have no idea what my responsibility will be. I got a one liner from my company saying "Someones gonna pick you up at the airport". I really hope they didnt forget to arrange accommodation for me.
As Im not that much of a blogger and dont use fb and ms a lot Im gonna use this blog to record my adventures. If I manage to steal my sisters cam Ill even be able to post pics here.
