turns out i quite enjoy 6-max. Only playing 8-tables too, so relaxing times.
How it started - I opened up my party account and there was a $22 token thing available, plus about $15. I played a $22 tourney and cashed for $60. There is also a $150 no deposit bonus that I'm grinding through. Moved another $490 over there and started to learn short-handed poker. I've decided to move quickly until $50nl, but grind a little rather than simply start with the $1.2k deposit. This seems worthwhile, cos my short-handed game is far from watertight, so why not learn for cheap?
5nl - tick after one session
10nl - tick after one session
25nl - I had to play a little better. Running fine now after 2k hands (was spew <> thin value, down $100 after 1k!). Will move up at party roll $900 - i expect i'll grind out 6 more buyins around as fast as the $150 clears, so hopefully i'll be there early next week.
I'll probably post some 25nl hands in the beginners circle - they may prove a little controversial?
Will have a Full Ring session this evening, and look into the various easy-rake-race free money opportunities floating around this month (things like rake $5 to win $100 seem to exist).
