Yeah, last night I was on one of those tables and kept getting coolered. Had a made straight against villain who had 75% VPIP and he had two cards to make a one card better straight. Against a 65% VPIP villain, made an 8 high flush using two cards and he had a ten high flush using two cards. Flopped the nuts in another hand, get two maniac villains betting into me, but they auto shut down on the raise. Grrr ...

I think EVERYONE should have this attitude. Why the rush? It'll only make you feel bad when you don't move up at the rate you want. If you're beating the game, you just have to play enough hands. I tend to think taking it slow is better EV because you're in a better frame of mind. Quality EV hours always beats any amount of mediocre negative EV hours.

Why can't you win much money? The stakes are too low or the competition is too good? I have two games planned myself: a $0.25/$0.50 game and a $0.50/$1.00 game. I've cleared as much as $131 in the former. It's amazing what I can do when I actually hit some hands against some fish
