I cant think of an example where you might want to call pre flop. You might fold near a big money bubble, or if you think somebody has Aces or even kings and or you are just in a situation where it is prudent to do so.
Generally you are going to raise or shove, you are probably the best pre and if you go all in you see all 5 cards which improves your chances even more.
Maybe somebody else can think of a reason, some of these guys have much more experience and have seen a lot more situations than me.
