Back again after a strange couple of days: one really craptacular and one (today) going exactly the opposite.
Yesterday was totally frustrating playing with a bunch of calling stations who managed to suck out every possible good card against anything I happened to have. A couple of times though I completely deserved losing the hands because I was tilting towards the end and continuing to try to push people off of hands which just doesn't happen with micro calling stations. I was also severely overvaluing my TPTK hands and kept getting nailed with trips and two pairs.
Today was much better. I didn't even have any great starting (top ten) hands and still managed to play position, bet and fold when I should have and not do anything really stupid. It also helped that I was playing at a table that totally suited me without any calling station maniacs.
249 hands played over the two days, ended up only 6BB because of the session yesterday, which I won all of back today.
So far my win rate is only 2BB per 100 hands which I'm trying to get up to at least 5 before I even consider moving up. My graph looks ridiculous because it is so up and down, however I'm realizing that this is a long term process and over time I can definitely beat this game.
