Sigh...that's the last time I waste my time at an MTT. I really need to learn to avoid them.

Entered our FTR $300 Monthly tourney. Couldn't catch a break. 57 people entered, managed to make it to Level 4 for 36th place which is pathetic. Only top 6 paid as well which I didn't know at the beginning, I won't be entering another one of those unless it's considered fun money.

6 handed tables made for very loose play, which is not my style at all (I didn't know that before the tourney started). Every time I had a somewhat decent hand and raised either all I got was the blinds or I ran into someone with a better hand. 2 crucial hands crippled me - ran into my 66 raised preflop into the SB who had Q10, obviously I didn't hit my trips but the board paired on the turn so I bet. Turned out he flopped top pair. Then I got AJ, raised again with one caller, flopped air, c-bet and got raised hard. Had to lay it down.

The final hand was me short stacked (5xBB) with Q8s and a guy who had been stealing my blinds for four rounds or so raised into me so I pushed. Turns out he had AK.

So I just blew my winnings for the past few days in one short shot. I'm going to stick with my limit play for a while.
