To be honest I've never done a 1 hour session, only 2 hour ones. In a 2 hour session depending on what you want I do different things. For 6 max I do 30 minutes of you watching me play HU while explaining, and then 30 minutes of the same but with 6 max. Then 30 minutes of me watching you play and analyzing your game. Then the last 30 minutes is me explaining your leaks and any questions you may have as well as going over PT Hand Histories (I ask you to prepare some HH's to go over during the session). A lot of people like the idea of the coach watching the player most of the time but it's really not as helpful as it seems.
I've recently had suggested to me that it'd be good to have a student do a video before hand and go over the video together. I am going to do one of those on monday but have no previous experience doing it.
I think a 2 hour session is well worth doing and will help a TON. One hour session could be great as well, there just has to be good preperation for it.
Honestly if you play 25nl or greater it's almost surely worth the money. If you really don't feel like you have the money DON'T BE AFRAID to shoot me a PM and see if we can work out some deal.
