It's been almost a year since I was there....They were in the process of changing over all of their limit games. I may be wrong and I don't have the handout that was printed with me with the details but, I think they will have a standard 2/4, 4/8, 5/10, 10/20 and a 20/40. Apparently, they heard enough from the customers and made a decision. They've got NL for sure and Omaha if, I'm correct. I counted about 60 tables on my trip. No shortage there. I had one day and one day only to get from St. Pete to the Hard Rock. I stayed about 8 hours and had to get back to the ship... The new limits were not yet in effect so, I missed out. Damn! I played that 2-2 game and did really well. I took a lot of lunch money from them kids and locals with a pension and time time to kill. I colored up three times I think. They literally called me, "Mr. Raise". I forced them to pull out money just to hang around. It was glorious. However, they caught on to me buying pots. It got shorthanded. It got late. I made sure I drank my monies worth...$340 profit instead of $800. Man, I swore I'd go back. Opportunity knocks here. Giv'em hell....(Continued) A cab driver told me that Derby Downs was not worth the trip. Smoke out side the card room. Not far for us smokers. A while back I looked up the room rates. I want to say about, $179 a night at the Hard Rock. There was a gambling boat for sale at the dock in St. Pete. next to the University and small airport. They wanted 3M. "If you hate someone give them a house. If, you REALLY hate them, give them a boat too!" Stay safe man..
