Sorry, I should have guessed that you weren't looking for advice.
If I was to try to think about why you might have shoved over on the flop, I'd say it's because you realised that you made an error preflop, saw opp's flop lead (maybe he'd led the flop previously when he was first in?) and thought you might be able to push him off his hand.
