Hi, welcome to FTR!

Reading the HOHs by themselves won't leave holes in your game. Just remember which parts of the books refer to specific parts of any given tournament, and you'll be fine. You should definitely eventually read both (or all 3), though.

Absolutely read TOP, I've heard that it's one of the best books to read if you're gonna read a poker book. I keep trying to read it, but I hate reading so much. It's sitting on my couch and my bookmark is still in the first 5 pages
