I'll preface this by saying I am new to 5cd but I have read a bit on it in the past including all the references in ToP to it.

I've been trying to think deeper about hand ranges and how they change from street to street in hold'em. Either way I just wanted to type a resposnse to this cuz I know I'll get feedback either way and I need to hear it.

The question here is what is this players range for:

A. calling before the draw and raising after it
B. calling/raising/folding in refernece to your 3bet post-draw

I think you'll find (Fnord you know) that all worser hands except for lower trips are folding here and some trips are even folding. Why? well, if he is a competent player he knows you have a mid-to-high pair pre-draw. Leading post-draw does not do much to influence your own range but once he raises your next action definitely changes your range. In all actuality though leading post-draw declares you can beat smaller pairs.

You range for calling his raise is probably Kings up and low trips(however I'm not sure if you raise 22-66 pre-draw in a blind battle). Your range for raising his bet should be higer trips and boats. However, should it really be this? What do we expect him to call a post-draw 3bet that we beat? Well most-likely trips 22-66. However, a thinking player could possibly fold the smaller trips and would certainly fold 2pr type hands if he is paying attention and if your image is solid.

All in all I'm not sure that 3betting is the right play here mainly b/c if we get capped I actually think you have to fold this as his range for capping post-draw after drawing 3 is absolutely killing you and even with great odds I don't think it's a +EV play.
