I'll see if I can make one more installment before I fly away. Would you believe they banned gambling in Thailand? I mean, FFS anything goes in that country rite!?
speaking of hookers and gambling, here's an interesting anecdote. Year 2003, casino lisboa in Macao (1 hour ferry from Hong Kong). A woman who looks about 20; great body but average skin and face walks past with makeup that gave away her profession. Had found a customer and was taking the lift upstairs. Came back down in about 20 minutes and sat on my blackjack table! Talk about a ST (short time)! Anyway, she proceeds to win and went from 200 buy in up to about 600. And she gets dealt blackjack, dealer 4 upcard. Unbelievably, she says "I want to play it as an 11 and double". You could hear the gasp @ the table. I'm not sure that's even allowed. But the dealer asks her "are you sure ma'am". Three times. Yes, yes, I'm fucking sure, are the replies. She hits a 2, dealer flips over a 6 and draws a face card for 20.
Saw her about 15 minutes later with another customer. I can only presume she lost her money.
