So I did take a day off, got my mind right, adjusted a thing or two with my game...and for the past two days I've been playing some pretty good ring NL Holdem.
Here's some more hand histories. This time I'm including a few that I folded out of that were winners... gonna comment afterwards on these.

Okay, this hand I really think I was making a -EV move...this guy repped a set all the way to the bank, calling a HUGE reraise, I put him on Qs 0r Ks, but it was just junk. I was new to the table at this time, and this was only a couple of hands in. I think my call was bad, but I got lucky.

I think I played this hand well. Of course it IS the nuts, so it's pretty hard to not bet or raise or whatever, but I think the amount I raised was pretty good......I tried to keep both guys in the pot to build it as much as possible. I was reasonably sure somebody had a good flush (and was right), and was hoping for a sweet reraise, but he flat called. Later he said he did figure there was a boat out there.

So I missed out on some more quads (same table!)...but he did make a nice flop bet, which pushed me out of the hand. I don't think I should have stayed in anyhow, but it sucks to see runner runner......not gonna let it affect my playing though!
Next up is something else like that, on a different table..

Something isn't adding up right with the math there, but the jist of it is that there were something like 6 preflop callers of a $1 raise. Flop comes with a nasty ace and two hearts, a guy bets and somebody else either calls or raises, and I fold out of there. One of the guys in the pot is allin before the flop (he had $1.75 and reraised over my $1). The thing was, the two guys that stayed in after the flop (one bet and one called) were both on flush draws that missed, and the little allin guy with the pocket fours ended up taking the pot. I still don't think I should have called the $2 bet or whatever it was after the flop with such a dangerous board and only 1 card could really help me (q of hearts makes three to a flush, so that hurts)......it's like $10 I missed out on, and it does sort of make sense that I should stay in the hand being the INITIAL preflop raiser, but with so many freakin callers, the chances of having an ace...man, I just can't believe nobody had something better.
