Wow I don't hang out in the beginner's circle much but I should! I just NOW read this and really needed it 2 days ago when I almost went bust again with the small br I had on PS.
I am actually keeping records now (using note pad  ) and was doing great when I was following proper bankroll management, I mean I was up really up compared to my normal playing out of my bankroll and busting ways.
Then sure enough I took a good portion of my roll and played in the deep stack tournament  I tried to resist b/c I knew it was way more than I could spend from my roll, but fail to.
Now that I plan on depositing 300 in 2 days to "get serious" about my game and go from there I really have to do everything it takes to not fall into my old habits because bad BR management is the main reason I think I go bust every month
