I play these a lot too, namely the Pearl single-table sats on Dise and sometimes
PokerStars 500K sat SNGs. The format isn't exactly the same, since only one person wins the seat, so I'd play these more like a SNG and less like a satellite. Competition is pretty weak anyway, so in that regard it makes it a lot like a satellite MTT. If I have a choice between qualifying through an MTT satellite or playing a SNG satellite (and time isn't an issue), I choose the MTT.
