Do you payout more than first place and play multiple tourneys? If your friends know it more than an "all or nothing" game, maybe they'd be willing to invest more in it.

When theres only 4 of us at the game its usually just the top place, ocassionally we get my mates bro and a couple of his mates to play as well, in which case we pay out a few more places.
I like the idea of that though.. pay first and second, and maybe have re-buys for the first half hour or something. I think they'd probably go for rebuys, it always sucks to go out first and be unable to play again till its over.
