This was a good vid. There were some spots you could have played the hand better but that was only like 2 or 3 times other than that it was great. Deffinetly a great vid for beginners to learn the basic strategy.

*** Great SnG primer. Solid ABC poker.

Awesome, helped me learn the pros and cons of the push/fold method which I didn't know governed basically EVERYTHING at the later stages of these turbo 10 man sngs Great video!

Watched your video again, and hurrah, picked up a win in a 10 seater SnG (freeplay). Thanks again Ben. Didnt play a couple of hands well, but playing tight, and getting a read on the players is really helping. Keep it up mate.

Great video. Picked 2 out of 3 ITM after watching it that night. Will rewatch to sharpen game. Was trying to watch both games closely, but ended up watching the game on the left again from start to finish. Good to see an Aussie flavour amongst all these sites.

I play semi-recreational. I like to win, I'm just not real serious about making money at poker. For the last few months, I have been mostly playing 1.10 45 SNG on UB. Mostly losing trying to play donk hands and losing a bunch more than winning. After watching this video, of the last three tournaments that I have played, I have taken 1 first and two seconds. I very rarely get my money in bad. The video made me refocus my play to just playing good hands instead of trying to be cute.

In spite of getting hardly any good hands early on, he still managed to turn a positive ROI. The video also had a very instructive, lengthy heads-up sequence which was well-worth watching. I found it interesting that he did not actually make any notes on players. His memory seemed rather good in-tournament considering his reads, but I have to wonder why he wouldn't make notes in case he ever comes across a player in another tournament.

Really excellent stuff! This is a great way to learn how to play profitable poker at the low stakes. BJsAust explains the basics of ICM and demonstrates how to incorporate ICM theory into your endgame. A definite must watch for the low-stakes SnG poker player.

He was pretty unlucky on the left table having the agressor to his left and didn't get too many opportunities to steal on both tables. Usually in an sng you find much more spots to steal the blinds with less risk, but he was too short to just raise it up. Good call with the A9! I might have layed that down to the UTG raise from a fairly tight player. Might have missed a semi-bluff there with the first flushdraw HU, but in retrospect seeing how easily the villain gave up pre-flop that was probably better to play it safe. Great lesson in patient agression.

Great video. Your play with moderate hands is particularly interesting. Kee it up.

Wow! This is excellent stuff! I really appreciate this video greatly. I didn't think there would be videos aimed at newer players like me. Thanks Ben! FTR is a real find for me!

Hello. I appreciate you taking the time to make the video. As a beginner (3 months of play), I thought it was very helpful. I like to see how more experienced players think, and you video demonstrated that perfectly. Thanks again!
