4 Tabling $5 NL Full Ring by Bigspenda
Description:
In this video I decide to play 4 tables of $5nl Full Ring on PokerStars. I go over a lot of topics for postflop play including note-taking, two-barrelling, hand ranges, relative position, and scare cards. The tables were playing weak-tight so I decided to take advantage of that and run them over a bit. I may not play perfectly preflop in this video, but that's what PF charts are for. My focus will continue to be on postflop play. I hope you guys enjoy this video and please rate it!!! Click here to discuss this video further in the FTR Poker Forum.

Thanks for the excellent video ~spenda.
This stuff is great! I normally play 2
tables either 6-max or FR, this vid.
definately helps with going deeper
behind your opponent/analysing their
play etc~ great vid! |
“Numbering tables helpful” by Dash, 06 Oct 2009 |
I've watched the first 2 beginner vids
by you and both are excellent. I'm
using my laptop to watch these and it's
a bit difficult to make out 4 tables so
the few times you referred to "Table
1" or "Table 2" were very helpful. I
hope other multi-table vids continue
with this. |
“Excellent Video” by tomato paste carnage, 04 Oct 2009 |
(This time with 5 spades)
I'm a beginner and applied what
BigSpenda was teaching in this
video. Definitely enjoyed the results.
This stuff works. |

I very much enjoyed this. In fact, I
watched this video twice, all the way
through. |

I learned alot from this video. It is a
bit outdated but had some really good
concepts.
Does BigSpenda still do videos for this
site? |

is one of my fave coaches. |
“Micro NL Full table” by KeeKoLy, 19 Mar 2009 |
This video was excellent in my opinion.
My only thoughts on making it better
could be to make it longer? Or just in
general do more of them. I posted some
questions on the thread page as well.
Overall it's just great for beginners
like myself to be able to "hear" the
thought process going on during an
actual hand. You can't get that same
feeling from a single posted hand
history. It was useful to see your note
taking techniques and how you adjusted
on the fly when you identified the
weaker players. Please do some more
even if they are the same levels, no two
sessions are ever alike!! |
“Another good one!” by HarleyGuy13, 19 Dec 2008 |
Each time I learn so much. Really liked
how much you talked about notes and it
gave me an idea of what I should be
looking at an taking note of. KEEP EM
COMING PLEASE!!! |
“my 1st :)” by njpokerhoney, 28 Oct 2008 |
This was the 1st poker video I have ever
watched. I liked the thought process
behind your decisions and how you were
able to narrow the players hand ranges.
I need to become a more active
participant when I play as opposed to
just playing based on my cards and a few
reads.

“Good tips for slightly loose aggression” by DoanDiggy, 08 Oct 2008 |
A great video that showed some good
examples of loosening up your play in
tight tables in order to take advantage
of weak/tight players. Included several
good bluffs and great play against a
player who was noted to be a calling
station. |
“Nice Vid” by anon, 01 Jun 2008 |
First of all I would like to say thanks
for the videos. You offer some great
tips in this video. I'm going to have
to experiment with two barreling, it
will be nice to add that to my bag of
tricks. Also I found out I play the
majority of the hands exactly like you
did so that was a nice confidence boost.
Ohh and I have never heard of relative
position, but I am going to use it to my
advantage now. Keep making videos, they
do help. |
“Thanks” by CRSfox, 25 May 2008 |
Great video, this is exactly what I was
looking for. I am playing full ring
micro stakes at pokerstars right now and
i am looking forward to your upcomming
videos. |
“Good, comprehensive video” by anon_newb, 27 Sep 2007 |
I really enjoyed watching this video, as
it covered alot of things such as the
importance of aggression, using scare
cards to your advantage, judging the
texture of the board and reading your
opponents.
The only criticisms I can say of it is
that maybe just 3 tables would be better
and perhaps a 4 colour deck just to make
everything as clear as possible. |
“good learning tool” by allabout, 24 Sep 2007 |
This was the first video I watched and I
can't wait to watch more now. It was
good to get some points of view from
someone with experience and I thought
the plays were explained well. I also
found it interesting some of the hands
that were played that I normally
wouldn't play and how they were played
effectively. Overall great video!
Thanks. |
“Good job” by Bizu, 20 Sep 2007 |
Again, another good show by playing
aggressively with detail explanation
while taking notes. I like it when you
show how to exploit the players with
2-barelling and bluffing the river with
air. Definitely going to start to try
this concept when I play 6-max. Video -
9, Sound - 9. |
“loved this video” by parky, 19 Sep 2007 |
ireally learned some things about
trying to read hands which is something
I am trying to do. I plan on watching
it again and again to pick up on the
things you said. Love the video as a
learning tool, seeing somehting is
action was great. How you note take
with such detail was a revealtion to me
and then use it to play a guy. |
“Not too shabby” by unibomber14, 13 Sep 2007 |
Excellent once again spenda. I like
that you do a lot of discussion on what
type of boards are okay to make
different plays on. You made some good
points, and were not afraid to post a
video in which you lost some pots, and
made some not so accurate reads.
Also, worser is not a word, it is a
nonstandard. That means they added it
to the dictionary because douchebag
Americans don't speak proper English.
:) |
“A couple of concepts” by sarbox68, 12 Sep 2007 |
Picked up a couple of good things from
this one. Thinking about
double-barreling is an added skill for
me, and getting a sense of what's a
good board and card to do it on. Also
the two more detailed reads were helpful
-- the CS and the AA,KK, AK dude that
stacked. The tough time I have with
reads at FR is the number of people at
the table... 4-tabling means 36 other
ppl I gotta keep track of. So this part
was vry helpful esp the thought process,
note taking etc. Third item was playing
a wider range more aggressively AND
against raises -- built and took some
nice pots with stuff that I prolly would
have folded. Gonna have to review a few
more times to get everything out of it.
Thx for the effort! |
